NEW DELHI — The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially postponed the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 examinations originally scheduled for May 28, 2026.
According to an official notification released by the testing agency, the postponement affects both scheduled shifts on that day. The decision was prompted by a shift in the official holiday calendar for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).
The NTA confirmed that revised exam dates for the affected candidates will be announced in due course. Students are advised to monitor the official CUET UG website at cuet.nta.nic.in for the upcoming schedule updates.

- Total Registered Candidates: 15,68,866
- Total Test Instances: Approximately 67,56,321 (owing to distinct subject combinations)

The pan-India examination framework is being conducted across the country, alongside 14 international host cities spanning 13 countries—including Washington DC, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu, Dubai/Sharjah/Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Kuwait, Doha, and Muscat.

Once the new dates are released, candidates can access the official notification by following these steps:
