The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the results for the class 10 examination on its official website, hpbose.org. Students can retrieve their results from this website as well as the IE Education Portal. This year, the board has achieved an overall pass percentage of 83.87 percent in the Class 10 board examinations. Notably, Anmol from Kangra has secured the top position in the matriculation exam. Dr. Rajesh Sharma, the chairman of HPBOSE, remarked that the results reflect a commendable performance by students throughout the state.
To access the results for the class 10 examination, students should navigate to the official HPBOSE website, select the menu, and then click on the results option. Subsequently, they should locate the Class 10 result link and input their login credentials. After submitting this information, the results will be displayed on the screen. It is recommended that students download their marksheet and retain it for future reference.
In the previous year, HPBOSE recorded a pass percentage of 79.8 percent for the class 10 examination. In 2024, the passing rate was noted to be 74.61 percent. The class 10 examinations were conducted from March 3, commencing with English, and concluded on March 28, 2026, with Social Science.
If a student is dissatisfied with their marks, they have the option to request rechecking or reevaluation. The application form for this process will soon be accessible on the board’s official website. Students will be required to pay the applicable fees for each subject.
Students who have not passed in one or two subjects are eligible to take the compartment examination. However, those who have failed in more than two subjects will not be permitted to sit for the compartment exam and must retake the main examination the following year.
Students who were unable to attend the main examination for valid reasons are also permitted to take the exam. Additionally, students who have passed but wish to improve their percentage can opt to take the improvement examination.
Last year, the HPBOSE improvement/Compartment examination took place from July 22 to July 29, 2025. The results were announced on September 12, 2025, by the Himachal Pradesh Board.
