The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, commonly referred to as IBPS, has published a revised tentative schedule for the year 2025-26 on its official website, ibps.in. According to this updated schedule, IBPS is set to conduct the preliminary examination for Probationary Officer (PO) positions on August 17, 23, and 24. The mains examination is scheduled for October 12.
IBPS will facilitate the registration process for its recruitment examinations online, and there will be a unified registration for both the prelims and mains examinations, where applicable.

Candidates are required to upload the following documents:
(1) Photograph– 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg format
(2) Signature– 10 kb to 20 kb in .jpeg format
(3) Thumb impression– 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg format
(4) Scanned copy of the handwritten declaration in the specified format, which will be provided in the respective notifications – 50 kb to 100 kb in .jpeg format
While completing the application, candidates must also capture and upload their live photographs.

It is important to note that this calendar is tentative, and the dates may be subject to change. IBPS has stated that it “reserves the right to modify the examination dates and the selection process, including guidelines/modalities” due to administrative reasons, court orders, government advisories, and other factors.
