The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has delayed the release date of the notification for the Sub Inspector recruitment examination in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), also known as SSC CPO 2025, citing ‘administrative reasons’. The notification was originally set to be released on June 16.
“Candidates are hereby informed that the Notice for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025, which was tentatively scheduled for publication on 16.06.2025, has been postponed due to administrative reasons. The date for the notice’s publication is currently being finalized in consultation with the relevant user Department. Therefore, all candidates are advised to regularly check the Commission’s website,” stated the SSC.
The notification will provide candidates with essential information regarding important dates, eligibility criteria, the application process and fee, the exam pattern and syllabus, as well as other pertinent details.
SSC CPO 2025: Steps to apply for the examination once the process commences
- Visit the official website of the commission at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the apply tab.
- Choose the exam name.
- If you are a new candidate, click on the register now link and complete the one-time registration process. If you are an existing candidate, enter your details to log in to your account.
- Next, complete the application form.
- Upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the examination fee.
- Finally, submit your form and save a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
In the meantime, candidates are awaiting the results of the SSC Constable (GD) examination in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2025. The results will be announced on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
The written examination for Constable GD took place from February 4 to February 25, 2025. The provisional answer key was released on March 4, and the objection window closed on March 9, 2025. The results are anticipated to be released shortly.
