A PG Certificate Program in AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning Applications for Engineers was introduced by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) in collaboration with Futurense.
About the curriculum: This 11-month hybrid program includes recorded and live sessions, as well as the option of an IIT Roorkee campus immersion. AI is not only developing; it is also taking centre stage in the balance of power in the world. Nations are vying for supremacy in AI innovation, and Sam Altman has cautioned that AGI may arrive sooner than anticipated. One major weakness is the almost four- to five-year delay between academic research and practical AI developments. With models like Deepseek pushing the limits of AI autonomy and reasoning, engineers need to be able to lead the development of cutting-edge AI in addition to having theoretical understanding.
