India Post has initiated the application status feature for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment for the year 2025. Individuals who submitted their applications can verify their application status by visiting the official India Post website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
To access the application status, candidates must input their registration number in the designated field. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 21,413 GDS positions.
It is important to note that the recruitment process does not involve any examination; instead, candidates will be selected based on a merit list generated by the system. This merit list will be compiled using the marks obtained in the Class 10 board examination.
The department will publish the list of shortlisted candidates for engagement on the GDS Online Portal. Following the announcement of results, the selected candidates will receive notifications regarding the results and the schedule for physical verification, among other details.
The registration period for the India Post GDS Recruitment 2025 commenced on February 10, 2025, and concluded on March 3, 2025. A correction window was available from March 6 to March 8, 2025.
To qualify for application, candidates were required to have completed the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) with passing grades in both Mathematics and English. Additional eligibility criteria included proficiency in computer skills, cycling, and having sufficient means of livelihood.
Furthermore, candidates aged between 18 and 40 years were eligible to apply.
