The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has initiated the counselling process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED 2025) on its official website.
Candidates who have taken the exam and wish to participate in the counselling can access the official site at uceed.iitb.ac.in.
About the examination:
The Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) serves as the entrance assessment for admission into the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Numerous other institutions also accept the UCEED Score Card for their BDes admissions.
The results for the UCEED 2025 examination were announced on March 7, 2025. According to the official website, counselling for BDes program applications at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur (Participating Institutes) will begin on March 14, 2025, and conclude on March 31, 2025 (Monday) at 17:00 hours.
Online registration for UCEED 2025 commenced on October 1, 2024, with admit cards issued to candidates on January 3, 2025. The UCEED 2025 examination took place on January 19, 2025, in a single session from 9 AM to 12 noon.
Age criteria:
Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000, if they belong to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category, and on or after October 1, 1995, if they belong to the SC, ST, or PwD categories.
Application Fee Information:
The processing fee for the BDes admission application counselling is ₹4000 (Rupees Four Thousand only) for applicants of all categories and genders. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, as stated on the official website.
