The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), also known as Class 10th. Students can access their scores online by visiting the official websites: mbose.in, mboseresults.in, and megresults.nic.in.
This year, there was a significant increase in the number of candidates who took the SSLC examinations, with 63,682 students participating, compared to 54,134 last year. This rise is primarily due to the removal of the Selection Test, which was implemented to enhance accessibility and lower academic hurdles. A similar increase was observed in 2021 when the test was suspended because of the pandemic.
“Congratulations to all the students who excelled in the SSLC, MBOSE examinations. May this initial step towards your future inspire you to pursue even greater achievements. This year’s pass percentage of 87.10% marks a historic achievement, surpassing previous years’ results, which typically hovered around 50%. I also extend my heartfelt congratulations to the 341 schools that attained a 100% pass rate,” stated Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on X.
According to the SSLC result document from MBOSE, the Supplementary examination is scheduled to take place between April and May 2025. Candidates who did not pass the main SSLC examination in 2025 will have the opportunity to retake the failed subject(s) in the Supplementary exam.
