The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has published the NEET PG 2025 merit list for 50 percent of the all India quota (AIQ) seats. Candidates interested in securing admission to the 50 percent AIQ seats for MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses/Post MBBS DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 years) Courses and NBEMS Diploma Courses for the 2025-26 admission session can access the merit list at natboard.edu.in.
The merit list includes candidates’ roll numbers, application IDs, categories, NEET PG scores and ranks, all India quota ranks, and category-specific all India quota ranks, among other details. The postgraduate medical entrance examination took place on August 3, with results announced on August 19.
NBEMS has indicated that the NEET PG merit list for state quota seats will be compiled by the respective states and Union Territories in accordance with the qualifying/eligibility criteria, guidelines, regulations, and reservation policies.
The category-wise cut-off marks for NEET PG were disclosed alongside the examination results. Candidates who achieved scores equal to or exceeding the cut-off marks are qualified to engage in the AIQ counselling process, which will be managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
NBEMS will make AIQ scorecards available for candidates eligible for online counselling at natboard.edu.in on or after September 5. The scorecard will be accessible for download for a duration of six months.
The NEET PG AIQ scorecards will include the following information:
- NEET-PG 2025 rank: This indicates the overall merit position of the candidate among all individuals who participated in the NEET-PG 2025.
- All India Quota rank: This reflects the overall merit position of the candidate among all individuals who appeared in the NEET-PG 2025 and are qualified for AIQ counselling.
- All India Quota category rank: This denotes the overall merit position of the candidate within their category (OBC/SC/ST/EWS) among candidates of the same category who are eligible for AIQ counselling.
