The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2023 result at neet.nta.nic.in today. Students who appeared in the NEET UG 2023 exam will have to enter their roll number, date of birth, and security pin to download the NTA NEET UG 2023 scorecard.
The NEET result 2023 will also be available on the websites, ntaresults.nic.in and nta.ac.in. This year, the NEET 2023 exam was held on May 7. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will be responsible for conducting the counseling for NEET 2023. The first two rounds of counseling will be specifically for admissions under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), as well as for deemed and central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and AFMC.
A mop-up round of counselling will also take place, which will exclude the 15% AIQ seats. It is important to note that the dates for NEET counselling pertaining to the 85% state quota seats will be announced separately by the respective state authorities.
Last year, the NEET cut-off for unreserved category students ranged from 715 to 117. For reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) the cut-off was between 116 and 93. In the case of OBC, SC, and ST candidates with disabilities, the cut-off range was 104 to 93. The MBBS or BDS cut-off for general category candidates was set at the 50th percentile, while for OBC, SC, and ST categories, it was set at the 40th percentile.
