The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the schedule for the practical examinations for the March-April 2025 session. According to the timetable, the practical exams for students in Class 10 and Class 12 will be held from March 17 to April 1.
Students will be able to access their hall tickets for the 2025 practical exams on the NIOS portal prior to the commencement of the exams. The date sheet can be viewed on the official NIOS website at nios.ac.in.
NIOS has instructed all regional directors to promptly publish the practical exam timetable for Classes 10 and 12 for 2025 on their respective regional websites.
The practical examinations for Class 10 will start with subjects including Science and Technology, Home Science, Carnatic Sangeet, and Folk Art. The assessments will conclude with subjects such as Hair Care and Styling, Hand & Foot Care, Bakery & Confectionery, Certificate in Basic Computing, Certificate in Desktop Publishing, Certificate in Yoga, and Indian Sign Language.
For Class 12, the practical exams will commence with subjects like Home Science, Biology, Geography, Painting, Computer Science, Mass Communication, and Early Childhood Care and Education. The concluding assessments will include Computer and Office Applications, Data Entry Operations, Web Development, IT Essentials: PC Hardware & Software, CRM Domestic Voice, Computer Hardware Assembly & Maintenance, and Yoga Assistant.
Regarding the NIOS Practical Exams 2025, students can download their intimation-cum-hall ticket from the NIOS website at sdmis.nios.ac.in. All practical examinations will take place at the designated study centres unless otherwise indicated by the relevant regional centre due to cancellations, non-functional centres, or a low number of registered learners.
The results of the practical exams are anticipated to be released within seven weeks after the theory exams conclude.
