The Railway Recruitment Boards have announced the dates for the RRB JE CBT 2 examination. Candidates intending to participate in the Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) can find the schedule notice on the official websites of their respective regional RRBs.
The CBT 2 examination is scheduled for April 22, 2025, with a duration of 120 minutes. The examination will consist of 150 objective-type questions, covering topics such as General Awareness, Physics and Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control, as well as Technical Skills relevant to the position. A virtual calculator will be accessible on the computer monitor during the Second Stage CBT.
The link for the exam city and date will be activated 10 days before the examination on the official websites of all RRBs. E-call letters will be available starting 4 days prior to the exam date, as indicated in the Exam City and Date intimation link.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Second Stage CBT based on the normalized scores they achieved in the First Stage CBT Exam.
The recruitment process will include several stages: the First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I), the Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II), Document Verification (DV), and a Medical Examination (ME).
Biometric authentication linked to Aadhaar will be conducted at the exam center before candidates are allowed entry into the examination hall. Candidates must present their original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar.
This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 7,951 positions, including 17 for Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research, and 7,934 for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant.
