The State Bank of India has announced the opening of applications for the positions of Circle Based Officer. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications online via the official SBI website at sbi.co.in. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 2050 vacancies within the organization.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates wishing to apply for these positions must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government, which includes Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Individuals with qualifications in fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible. The age requirement stipulates that applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old as of December 31, 2025, meaning candidates should have been born no later than December 31, 2004, and no earlier than January 1, 1996 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Process
The selection procedure will include an online examination, screening, and an interview. The online examination will feature Objective Tests worth 120 marks and a Descriptive Test worth 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will take place immediately following the completion of the Objective Test, and candidates will be required to type their answers for the Descriptive Test on a computer.
The Descriptive Test will last for 30 minutes and will assess the English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions totaling 50 marks. There will be no sectional qualifying marks; however, there will be minimum qualifying marks based on the aggregate score, which will be determined by the Bank.
Application Fee
The application fee is set at ₹750/- for candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC categories. Candidates from the SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempt from this fee. Payments can be made using debit cards, credit cards, or Internet Banking by providing the necessary information as prompted on the screen. Any transaction fees associated with online payments will be the responsibility of the candidates.
