The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final results for the Constable (General Duty) positions on its official website. Candidates who took the exam can now access their scorecards on the official websites – ssc.gov.in or ssc.nic.in.
This year, the SSC conducted examinations for 53,690 vacancies across various forces including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The examinations for these positions took place from February 4 to February 25, 2025. Candidates who successfully passed the written test will be required to participate in physical tests.
The recruitment process includes a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit in the CBT mode, taking into account their state, area, and category. This year, the CBE was administered in 13 regional languages in addition to English and Hindi.

Out of the total 53,690 positions available in this recruitment drive, there are 16,571 posts for the CISF, 16,371 for the BSF, 14,359 for the CRPF, 3,468 for the ITBP, 1,865 for the AR, and 902 for the SSB.
The final marks for SSC GD will be determined based on the scores achieved in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE). Each correct response will yield 2 marks, while 0.25 marks will be subtracted for each incorrect response. Candidates who are shortlisted for SSC GD must have their documents verified to secure a position in the respective departments.
According to the SSC pay matrix, the salary range for the Sepoy position in the NCB is Rs 18,000 to 56,900, whereas for other positions, the pay level is 3, ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69.
