The Staff Selection Commission has released the notification and commenced the registration process for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025. Eligible and interested individuals may apply for the SSC MTS and Havaldar examination 2025 at ssc.gov.in.
Currently, the commission has announced 1075 vacancies specifically for the Havaldar position. It has indicated that the vacancies for the MTS position are still being compiled.
Candidates are permitted to submit their applications for this recruitment examination until July 24. The window for application fee payment will close on July 25.
Those who apply by the deadline will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms from July 29 to July 31.
The SSC MTS and Havaldar Computer-Based Examination is scheduled to take place from September 20 to October 24.
Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years as of August 1, 2025, are eligible to apply for the MTS positions, while those aged between 18 and 27 years can apply for the Havaldar position and certain MTS roles in various departments. Age relaxation will be granted to qualified candidates from reserved categories.
To participate in this recruitment drive, candidates must have completed Class 10 or an equivalent examination by the cut-off date of August 1, 2025.
The application fee for the SSC MTS and Havaldar examination is ₹100. Women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) who qualify for reservation are exempt from paying the examination fee.
For the MTS position, the examination will include a computer-based examination (CBE), while the Havaldar position will involve a CBE followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST).
The CBE will be available in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (Metei or Meithei), Marathi, Odia (Oriya), Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
