The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification announcing its decision to implement Aadhaar-Based Biometric Authentication for its forthcoming examinations.
According to the notification, candidates will have the option to verify their identity using Aadhaar during the online registration process, while completing the online application form for the examinations, and upon arrival at the test center for examinations conducted by the Commission starting in May 2025.
Additionally, the Commission clarified that this Aadhaar authentication is optional and aims to facilitate a smoother examination experience.
In a separate notice dated April 16, 2025, the Commission indicated that the examination calendar for the 2025-26 period is currently under review. It mentioned that the updated examination calendar will be published soon on the official website, urging candidates to stay informed.
Meanwhile, the Commission is preparing to announce the SSC GD Result 2025. Once released, the results for the Constable (GD) positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2025 will be accessible on the SSC’s official website at ssc.gov.in.
Through this recruitment initiative, the Commission aims to fill a total of 39,481 Constable (GD) positions across the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau.
