The University of Delhi is now inviting applications for the Summer Internships 2025 under the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS). Students enrolled at the University of Delhi who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to apply for this internship program can do so through the official website at du.ac.in or dsw.du.ac.in.
The deadline for submitting applications for the VC’s Summer Internship 2025 is April 30, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
According to the university, “all regular bona fide students of the University of Delhi enrolled in any course or stream at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels are eligible to apply for the Summer Internship 2025 program.”
It is important to note that students in their final year or final semester are not eligible for this internship opportunity.
Additionally, students who have previously participated in VCIS (Summer/Part-time) are also ineligible for the Summer Internship 2025.
Key Features:
The following are the key features of the internship program:
The Summer Internship will require a commitment of 20 hours per week.
Participants will receive a stipend of Rs. 11,025 per month.
The duration of the Summer Internship 2025 will be two months, commencing in June and concluding in July 2025.
At the end of the internship period, candidates will receive a certificate from the Dean of Students’ Welfare.
Important Notes:
Applicants must upload a ‘Letter of Recommendation’ from their Principal, Head of the Department, Institution, College, or Centers on official letterhead, which should be duly stamped and signed on or after April 15, 2025.
The university has stated that any registration form submitted without the required letter of recommendation from an authorized individual will be rejected.
Furthermore, candidates are required to bring a ‘Letter of Recommendation’ to the interview for the Internship. The selection process will be solely determined by the interview or group discussion, along with the letter of recommendation.
