The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGETN) will start the registration for the TN SSLC and HSE Supplementary Exam 2025 on May 22, 2025. Students who did not pass the 10th Standard and Higher Secondary First Year General Examinations held in March/April 2025 can apply through the DGETN’s official website at dge.tn.gov.in.
According to the official announcement, students who either failed or did not attend the March/April 2025 Class 10 and Higher Secondary First Year public exams must apply to retake the subjects they did not pass. The deadline for applications is June 4, 2025.
Private candidates wishing to apply for the July 2025 10th Standard and Higher Secondary First Year Supplementary Examination, as well as those who did not pass or attend the March/April 2025 exams, can also apply starting from the same date through the Government Examinations Service Centres established in educational districts.
Candidates under the special admission scheme who miss the application deadline must apply online at their school or service centres on June 5 and 6, 2025, along with the exam fee. The fee is ₹200 for Class 10 and ₹1000 for Class 11 or HSE 1st year. Students from government and fully government-aided schools who did not pass or were absent during the 2024-2025 academic year are exempt from this fee.
