The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will start the registration process for the Class 10 Compartment, Improvement, and Class 12 Compartment exams tomorrow, May 19. Students can register for the UP board Improvement and Compartment exams until June 10 at upmsp.edu.in.
Additionally, the registration period for the scrutiny of answer sheets for the UP board 10th and 12th exams will close tomorrow, May 19.
Class 10 students can retake one failed subject in the Improvement exam and one of two failed subjects in the Compartment exam. The application fee for the Class 10 Compartment and Improvement exams is ₹256.50.
For Class 12 students in Science, Arts, and Commerce, they can take the Compartment exam for one subject, one question paper from Agriculture part 1 or 2, or one question paper from a Trade subject. The application fee for these exams is ₹306.
The UPMSP announced the results for the UP board 10th and 12th exams on April 25. Mehak Jaiswal from Prayagraj achieved the highest score in the Class 12 exam with 97.20%, while Class 10 topper Yash Pratap Singh scored 97.83%. The overall pass rate for Class 10 was 90.11%, and for Class 12, it was 81.15%. In Class 10, 11,49,984 boys and 11,44,138 girls passed the exam.
A total of 25,36,104 regular and 9,711 private students (25,45,815 in total) took the UP board exams, with 13,27,024 boys and 12,18,791 girls passing. The pass rate for girls was 93.87%, surpassing that of boys at 86.66%.
In Class 12, 25,98,560 students appeared for the exams, with 21,08,774 passing. Among them, 10,62,616 (76.60%) were boys and 10,46,158 (86.37%) were girls.
