Bundelkhand University, located in Jhansi, has officially announced the results for the Uttar Pradesh BEd Joint Entrance Examination (UP BEd JEE) for the year 2025. The announcement was made by UP’s higher education minister, Yogendra Upadhyay, along with the Minister of State for Higher Education, Rajni Tiwari, at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University. Candidates will soon be able to access their results through the link provided on the official BU Jhansi website, bujhansi.ac.in.
This year, a total of 3,44,546 candidates registered for the BEd entrance examination in Uttar Pradesh, with approximately 89 percent of them participating in the test. The examination took place on June 1, across 751 centers distributed throughout 69 districts in the state.
Among the 3,44,546 registered candidates, which included 1,96,700 females and 1,47,846 males, a total of 3,05,331 candidates sat for the test during the first shift. In the second shift, from the same pool of 3,44,546 registered candidates, 3,05,099 candidates took the examination.
The authority responsible for conducting the exam implemented around 12,000 advanced CCTV cameras and approximately 3,600 biometric machines at the examination centers. Attendance was meticulously recorded using face recognition and fingerprint verification systems, employing AI and real-time biometric attendance to ensure the integrity of the process.
In total, there are 605 seats available in 7 government colleges, 7,545 seats in 107 aided colleges, and 2.30 lakh seats across 2,221 private BEd colleges throughout Uttar Pradesh.
