A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is the minimum educational requirement for the UPSC CAPF ACs 2025 examination. Candidates who are in the process of completing their final degree examination may apply provisionally. Should they qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or the Physical Standards Test (PST), they must provide evidence of having passed the qualifying examination within the specified timeframe, as outlined in Sub-Rules 9.1 and 9.2 of Rule 15 of the CAPF (AC) Exam, 2025.

In exceptional circumstances, the Union Public Service Commission may consider a candidate without the aforementioned qualifications as eligible, provided that the candidate has successfully completed an examination conducted by other institutions, the standard of which, in the Commission’s view, warrants their admission to the examination.
Additionally, candidates holding professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government as equivalent to a professional or technical degree are also eligible to apply for the examination.
Candidates who have been finally selected based on a previous examination will not be permitted to participate in any subsequent examination for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants in the participating Central Armed Police Forces.
