The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially released the admit cards for the upcoming June 2026 Term-End Examinations (TEE). Students scheduled to take the assessments can now access and download their hall tickets from the dedicated Samarth portal at ignou.samarth.edu.in.
The core university examinations are slated to commence across the country on June 1, 2026.
Downloading the Admit Card and Verification
To retrieve their documents, candidates must log into the portal using the specific secure credentials generated during their TEE examination form submission.
The issued hall ticket provides critical logistical details, including:
- Detailed candidate information and identification photograph
- Complete examination datesheet and subject schedules
- Exact physical address of the assigned examination venue
- Essential exam-day directives, including mandatory documents to carry and prohibited electronic items
University officials have strongly advised students to meticulously cross-verify all personal and subject-related data displayed on the admit card. Any observed errors or discrepancies must be brought to the immediate attention of the university administration for correction.
Strict Policy on Venue Allocation
The university has reiterated its stance on test center distributions, issuing a reminder that requests for exam center alterations will not be entertained under any circumstances. All registered candidates are strictly required to appear for their respective tests only at the specific venues indicated on their officially issued hall tickets.
The registration phase for this examination cycle concluded in late April, following an extension up to April 26. A secondary registration window with a late fee penalty of ₹1,100 was subsequently provided until April 30, 2026.
July 2026 Re-Registration Window Extended
In a separate developmental notice, IGNOU has extended the deadline for the July 2026 re-registration process. Candidates pursuing online distance learning (ODL) and various online programs who have not yet re-registered can now complete the process until June 30, 2026, through the main university dashboard.
This extended timeline applies broadly to all academic programs offered by the institution, with the specific exception of certificate-based and semester-dependent courses. Prospective and continuing students can view the full matrix of available online programs on the central virtual learning site, iop.ignouonline.ac.in, before finalizing their applications.
