The Railway Recruitment Board has published the results for the RRB JE CBT 1 examination for the year 2025 on the official RRB websites. Candidates who participated in the examination and wish to verify their results can access the respective regional RRB websites where they submitted their applications.
Regarding the examination:
The CBT 1 was conducted on December 16, 17, and 18, 2024, at various examination centers nationwide. The duration of the exam was 90 minutes, comprising a total of 100 questions.
The question papers, responses, and answer keys for the JE CBT 1 were made available on December 23, and the window for raising objections closed on December 28, 2024.
Recruitment procedure:
The recruitment process will include several stages: the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I), the Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and preferences. Those who achieve scores that meet or exceed the cutoff marks for their eligible preference categories in CBT-I will be considered for final shortlisting for Document Verification (DV) following the CBT-II results. The Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II) for various positions, including JE, DMS, CMA, CS, and MS, under CEN No. 03/2024 for provisionally shortlisted candidates, will be conducted shortly. The specific date for CBT-II will be announced in due course, as stated in the official notification.
In conjunction with the results, the board has also released the cutoff mark details pertinent to the recruitment examination.
This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 7,951 positions, which include 17 roles for Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research, along with 7,934 positions for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant.
