The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination on its official website. Candidates who participated in the examination and wish to verify their results can do so by visiting ssc.gov.in.
Regarding the Examination:
The Staff Selection Commission conducted a computer-based examination for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ on December 10 and 11, 2024, at various locations across the nation.
The minimum qualifying marks for the Computer Based Examination are established as follows:
(i) Unreserved (UR): 30%
(ii) Other Backward Classes (OBC) / Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 25%
(iii) All other categories (Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), etc.): 20%
According to the official website, the cutoff marks for UR candidates who qualified for Grade C is 148.57526, while the cutoff marks for UR candidates who qualified for Grade D is 130.93746.
The official notification states, “Based on the performance of the candidates in the Computer Based Examination, 9345 candidates have provisionally qualified for the Skill Test for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ position, and 26610 candidates have provisionally qualified for the Skill Test for the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ position.”
The commission has also indicated that the final answer keys and the marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be published on the Commission’s website in due course.
